We dined on the patio where there was plenty of room and we had our little corgi and they treated her so sweet. The food was amazing and the drinks awesome. Shrimp appetizers and tri tip pasta were to die for. All staff had a big smile and were helpful and fun too. Thank you.

Such a lovely restaurant. Usually we sit upstairs outside and love to watch the boats go by. Their happy hours menu is awesome and the service is always great!

Service was great! Our waitress Jenna, was on point, she came to check on us several times throughout our dinner. The food was delicious! I ate here many years ago and remembered the bbq cauliflower and wanted to come back for it! The music was at a comfortable level. Over all a great experience!

Yesterday we came in for a bite with family. I recommend Newport Landing. It's a local favorite I had a avocado tuna melt sandwich and a bowl of clam chowder. It was delicious my picky godson loved his chicken strips. We were visited by a few birds lol I love this place. Everyone was so nice. The place is clean and the view is beautiful..

Ramon was great! He took care of us on the outside patio upstairs. He was really knowledgeable about the menu and had just the right amount of table visits. The view was great. We watched the ferry and the rest of the harbor traffic the whole time. The patio heaters were on point. Not too hot, but not cold either. Just right!

I have dined here a few times before and I was in the area with a few friends so we decided to grab a bite to eat here again. They have a great location right on the water on the Balboa Island side of Newport Beach. We were here on a weeknight so it was relatively slow, but they get pretty busy on the weekend and during the day. The tables out on the terrace upstairs give you a real nice view of the water and there are overhead heaters if it is chilly outside. The upstairs bar area and dining area is a good size and there are several TVs for watching sports. During the day, their outdoor patio right on the water is open. It was still happy hour when we arrived so we started with some oysters. The oysters tasted good but were not shucked very well and all three were still stuck to the shell on the bottom. I ordered the flat iron steak medium rare with veggies and mashed potatoes. I think they normally pour the brown gravy sauce on the steak before it comes to the table but I ordered it on the side. My first bite of steak was a little chewy but thankfully the rest was nice and tender and not chewy. The veggies were very fresh and the mashed potatoes had a nice buttery flavor. Other dishes which were enjoyed were the filet Mignon with veggies and mashed potatoes, and the filet Mignon tip fettuccine. Our server was Shane who was very friendly and provided great service. If you are feeling lucky, the restaurant does have four parking spots directly behind the restaurant. On a slow weeknight, I was able to park on Bay avenue which is the one-way street right behind the restaurant. On busier days, I usually have good luck parking in the public lot on Balboa Blvd and Palm Street.

I've been coming here for 21 years now. Food and service remain excellent. I don't think I've ever had a meal I did not enjoy. I'm going to say the drinks this time were the strongest I've ever had. The margarita tasted like straight tequila and I'm not complaining. Fans of clam chowder must try this here. I would say the burger was a little on the dry side but the patty was thick. Kids enjoyed the fish taco too. Big fat piece of breaded fish. Some missing items I forgot to grab pictures of are the zucchini sticks, chips and salsa and shrimp bowl. The zucchini sticks are a must have and the shrimp bowl was really filling.
